No it isnt sorry.

AWSOME! except for one thing.. not your fault! but i cant play the damn thing! i can open it. see the menu and all. i log in. works fine. click multiplayer. still works. but when i click local the game closes and norton tells me some thing like “an atempt (how do you write that?) to attack your comp has newly been blocked”.. if this was in the normal game i could have just opened it again but in sandbox the hole game closes.. in bf2 it is ok since there are two buttons. “create local” and “join local”.. the thing about 2142 is that i have to go trough “join local” to get to “create”.. thats the problem! everytime i get to join local the game closes. and i cant do anything about it.. what ever i do norton will keep telling me how great they where and closed what i was doing. that says some about how fucked up norton in! they might keep the viruses out, but everything else too.

i extracted the mod to the mods directory and when i go to customs games it isn’t there

get nod32 and adaware
then you will have decent security that doesn’t interfere with your games

Every time i go to Local, and click “create”, BF crashes. I don’t know what to do. seems like some people here have this same problem. what to do?

You should just add those pesky bridges, should really help builders.
For BF2: Sandbox, add the Chinese AA found on Daqing, at Chinese base.

SANDBOX ROXXXX!!

I’ve got the same prob as Maukka… Sandbox loads and everything, but when trying to access the create-folder in Local the game crashes. I want to try it out too, like the rest of you… Is there any clue to what might differ between installations? I extracted the .zip into the mod folder. Is there anything more i’m supposed to do?

Sorry, but this doesn’t work, same Problem as Maukka. I have BF2142 v1.10 DE.

i used to get the same problem in the old beta as you lot with it crashing when i tryed to set up a game. but hten i started it up in singleplayer mode and it worked have you tryed that yet?
but any way great mods keep it up elxx. i couldnt live with out them

The mod boots up fine, but ther wasnt a “read-me” file, so i dont know the control. Will someone please tell me how to spawn items? I have the BF2 mod and i know that you either use TAB or Q to spawn stuff, but that doesnt work for me here. Please shed somke light on my frustrating problem. THanks to anyone that answers.

How do you add objects and stuff? I dont understand this modification.

i got the mod and all, and i can play and spawn stuff, but how do i spawn things besides in the Q menu? i have 0.2, but for some reason its just like 0.1. i did delete the old beta, and the thing in custom games sais 0.2, but how do you spawn things like soldiers and stuff? and hte titan thing still says *Boom* *Elxx*. can anyone please help me?

for those who the game crashes when pressing “Create”, I am getting the same problem but to resolve it I must restart my computer then try again. The first try always work but if you close the server and re-open, it will crash again. Must reboot pc.

And guess they say Multiplayer not supported because the host can see the creations but not everyone else. Of course the vehicles work and can be seen by everyone but not the bojets… hope they fix it

ok i got the game to work but wen i go onto single player theres no maps there for me to select to start a game, what should i do?i have downloaded the bf2142 sandbox beta 2 mappack from sir. community and have placed it into my sbx2142 folder, what am i doing wrong??

Need some help, it shows logo, then closes, it shows the opening 2142 window then doesnt even start the game or mod. help.

I went into the objects directory and got the correct names for the northern strike vehicles (the pac speeder and the EU goliath) ans used
@s as_hov_light
and
@s heavy_ifv
but they didnt spawn anything, i would hope that with the next sbx2142 you would be able to add the northern strike stuff for everyone, or failing that, just the people who have the expansion pack

I got an idea, make buttons that open sublists on the spawn menu(tab in BF2SBX) that have like missiles, weapons, vehicles, objects, etc. so you can add EVERYTHING, including the useless stuff that maybe 1 person will want to spawn ^.^.

i downloaded the file and put it in mods, but cant find a launcher or anything to play it???

doesnt work 4 me ethier i have tried all the patches under the sun and it still crashes back to desktop perhaps next time (if there is gonna be another release)
you could actually put something out that works…. im dismayed and anoyed that you havent given the people who have posted here about the crashes atleast sum sought of help or perhaps actually include a read me in the download…..

i just found out something you can find all the tanks walkers guns soldiers etc.
in the install directory of BF2142
go C:/programfiles/electronic arts/mods/objects/
and you have it all just open the winRAR files and you have them
heres an example
objects/Vehicles_bp1_client.zip/as_heavy_mech
do not open as_heavy_mech

to get a dummie (soldier) just simple type in by the team chat

@s pac_light_soldier

and now you can spwn them

wasn’t there a BF2142 sandbox beta2.2 that supported saving and had the TAB menu replaced with the spawn
menu (or was that 2.1?)
