Elxx | September 21, 2008As promised (at some point), here’s a quick clip showing off a few of the new things in Sandbox 1.0 that we’ve been working on this past week. I threw it together in 10 minutes…it’s hardly production quality, so it’s up to you to figure out what’s happening.

Holy shit, thank you guys. I feel that wasting pretty much my whole Saturday on this was totally worth it now.
Deleted_screen - I forgot to add in the unlimited sprint for the new soldiers. I’ll do that now.

kinda on licht kings idea, can you program AI to run around with glass cubes trying endlessly to trap their opponents. i think it would be a good swing on singleplayer.

It is possible to have bots in a local server because Roflbox did it but im not sure if they would move or not.

Like, get into Sandbox, click on singleplayer, it loads, its 8 vs. 8, the bots fight each other like normal but you can still Sandbox. Is that possible?
That’s possible, but it has been left out of Sandbox to reduce file size. Leaving the navmeshes in the levels doubles or triples their size.
I’m sure someone can mod it in later as an add-on though.

So the flying is included? That’s cool. I’ve always seen you Sandbox Enthusists modding sandbox to make it so you can float and do god-like stuff. I’ve always wanted that ability, but I can’t do coding for burnt toast. And so far, not one person has given me any coding except for the “Famous Sounds”. I wish I at least had something different.
What about Unlocks?
Make three buttons in each faction kit selection menu:
1. Tier 0 (default kit weapons);
2. Tier 1 (BF2 unlocks);
3. Tier 2 (SF unlocks).
And two buttons for general: Long Sprint, Vanilla Sprint (vanilla sprint differs between vanilla classes).
And two buttons for general: Jetpack ON, Jetpack OFF.
I think somebody will support me in this campaign.
Still having some issues, cant open Sandbox.
I Start “Sandbox”.. Screen turns black, some seconds after.. i get back to desktop, and the game close, Idk why ;s
