Hey look, I’m not dead yet. It’s been a while though. School is now in full swing and my free time is being eaten by important work-related stuff. Come November, this blog will be extremely busy, trust me.

Modjive 1.3 was silently released along with Battlefield Pirates 2, and there have been no angry comments on the forum so I’m assuming it works fine for most people. Pirates is a hilarious mod too by the way, you should definitely try it out. We’re probably releasing Wake Island 2142 exclusively on Modjive as well, so keep an eye out for that too.

Oh, and Sandbox and Battleracer for BF2 are still alive. The next Battleracer will see a release before the next Sandbox. It’s going to pimp the moose, trust me. Apologies to the Battleracer community for seemingly ignoring you guys for so long. Sandbox fans, you won’t have long to wait either.

Besides that, I’ve been watching The IT Crowd, Californication, and Summer Heights High. Sir. Shpox just showed me the last one a couple of days ago…it’s odd but very funny. But really, I’m holding out for Season 4 of The Office and the final season of Scrubs.

Alright, you can now download Modjive 1.3. I’m still working on finishing up some backend stuff, so it won’t be set as a required update yet.

It may seem like not that much is different, but most of the changes are under the hood. Refreshing the mod listing should be a bit faster as the master server communication has been optimized. A few nasty bugs have been fixed aswell - download corruption should happen a lot less, and downloads will no longer die with angry errors when you change tabs in Available Mods or apply your settings.

I <3 the Internet. Without it, I’d be really really bored. And maybe 50 pounds lighter.

So yeah…recently BF-Games.net has entered my little list of places to visit for daily Battlefield info. Yeah, it’s slightly amusing how they report on all my late-night blog ramblings. But they basically report on everything that happens in the Battlefield community, which is awesome. It just feels more in-depth than any other community news site. Also, it helps me brush up on my German.
